Day Clinic

Our day clinic consists of modern patient rooms and an adjoining treatment room. Despite the brevity of your stay in our clinic, we offer you optimal comfort and service as well as excellent treatment quality.

The day clinic primarily performs eye surgeries (e.g. cataracts), varicose vein surgeries and other minor procedures (e.g.  carpal tunnel syndrome, annular ligament splitting, etc.).

Your attending physician will decide in advance in the consultation whether you are eligible for day-care treatment.

Please note that all documents relevant to the surgery (e.g.:  findings) must be brought with you upon admission. If the necessary findings are not available at the time of your admission, the procedure cannot be performed.

Your surgeon and, if necessary, the anesthetist will decide which documents are required for your procedure.

We offer you reliable appointments, short waiting times, and well-structured processes. In addition, you will be back in your familiar surroundings just a few hours after your procedure. However, please make sure that a support person is nearby during the first few hours after discharge.

If you wish, your family members will be informed of the time of discharge by telephone. During this time, the waiting support person can use the waiting area of the outpatient clinic (until 4 pm) or the cafeteria on the ground floor (main entrance Hans-Sachs-Gasse).
